The resident of the Astrakhan special economic zone “Lotos”, the company “Rosa”, which is part of the Iranian holding Golrang Industrial Group, is completing the main stage of construction of Russia’s first detergent plant. High‑tech equipment for bottling detergents has arrived at the site in the Narimanovsky District.
At maximum capacity, the plant’s design capacity will be 7,000 tons per month, and the products will be aimed at the Russian market. According to Kamal Afshari, the director of Rosa LLC, the construction of the plant is approximately 60 % complete; all stages of construction and installation are expected to be finished in 2026, and the plant will be launched the following year. The Iranian company plans to invest about 2 billion rubles in production and create at least 200 new jobs, with a subsequent increase in the staff size.
